US President Joe Biden has said he thinks Russian President Vladimir Putin can cross the border into Ukraine. But Putin also said he did not want a full-blown war there.

Russia has recently demanded that Western governments do not intervene in Ukraine, but that Ukraine will never join NATO. NATO’s activities should be limited to its member states, including Poland. Meanwhile, some of Moscow’s demands have been rejected by the West. Earlier, Russian and US top leaders have spoken by phone and video to reduce tensions.
