Everything will be done for the speedy repatriation of Indians trapped in the Russia-Ukraine War. This was stated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday. Speaking at an election rally in Sonabhadra, Uttar Pradesh, Narendra Modi said, “Citizens have been able to return from Ukraine as India has strengthened its grip on power.”

Since the declaration of war, Delhi has come to the rescue of Indian students stranded in Ukraine. India has launched a special rescue operation called ‘Operation Ganga’. Thousands of Indian students are stranded in Kharkiv and Kyiv of Ukraine. They are being flown back by special flights from Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, and Poland. The center has also arranged special flights on behalf of Air India.

The whole country was worried about the Indians trapped in war-torn Ukraine. It is learned that Indians will be repatriated from Ukraine on 26 flights in the next three days. “Apart from Bucharest and Budapest, Indians will be repatriated using airports in Poland and Slovakia,” Foreign Secretary Harshvardhan Shringala told reporters.
