American president Mr. Joe Biden has called on the Taliban to release the last American prisoner named Mark Frerichs. The man is thought to be the latest American who was captured by the Taliban 2 years ago. He was taken into custody by the Taliban fighters
Now the situation has been changed. Biden president couldn’t show their power in Afghanistan but now Joe Biden has given the Taliban a condition for recognition. Joe Biden has given the condition to release that American detained in their hands. Mark is actually a civil engineer by profession, who has served many years in the Indian Navy. He was taken hostage in January 2020. Joe Biden government said that if the Taliban wants any recognition, Mark Frerichs must be released first.
Whether the Taliban will accept the condition or not, President Biden said in a statement that if the Taliban had any hope of gaining legitimacy, Mark Frerichs would have to be released at this time. There will be no discussion about this. “The threat to the security of Americans and innocent people is unacceptable,” he said. And to take someone hostage is cruelty and cowardice. Meanwhile, the Taliban has not responded to Biden’s statement.
