On the eve of Republic Day, President Ramnath Kovind addressed the nation. In his speech, he paid homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose by highlighting the democratic and constitutional values of the country.
In his speech, the President said, “The whole world appreciates our colorful and diverse democracy. The value of unity as a country is celebrated on Democracy Day. This year, the Corona epidemic has had some effect on the Republic Day celebrations, but the country’s enthusiasm is extreme.”
Paying homage to Netaji, President Kovind said, “Netaji’s 125th birth anniversary is being celebrated. His struggle for independence and his efforts to keep the head of the country high still inspires us today. Today, we pay our respects to all the freedom fighters of the country.”
In his speech, he paid tribute to the late General Bipin Rawat, the country’s first Army Commander-in-Chief. On the outbreak of the Corona epidemic across the country, President Kovind said, “The world is fighting against the Corona. India has a large population so it is difficult to fight against Corona. The effects of the epidemic are still there. But the medical infrastructure has improved a lot. India has provided vaccines to many countries in the world”.
