The LinkedIn platform is largely used by professionals, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks come at a time when on one hand the world is taking note of India’s expertise, but on the other hand, India no longer remains the fastest growing economy in terms of GDP growth slumped in the first quarter of 2017. After the visit to Russia on the economic development background, today Prime Minister Modi took to professional networking website LinkedIn to hammer home the steps the central government has been taking to transform India and its economy and appealed to the world to explore opportunities in India. Narendra Modi spoke about a wide range of national and international issues, in particular, the development that is taking place in our country. In the article, he said that the national economic transformation is the topmost priority and the government wants the country to realize its potential of being the economic superpower of the 21st century.

 

In LinkedIn, he wrote about how Modi government has been making business in India easier. Narendra Modi mentioned, “In May 2014, when Modi government started the journey, the country was really going through a challenging phase. The element of trust in the government office, in institutions, in companies had disappeared.” He also added, “Top most priority was to change the environment of this culture in India. Our immediate priorities were to change the negative atmosphere, and we have done it over the last three years. India is the bright spot in the global economy.” Pm Modi also mentioned the GST issue. He said that the new tax reform under GST will have long-standing benefits for the nation.

 

Narendra Modi also talked about his ‘guiding tenet-reform to transform’. Modi wrote, “The transformation agenda of the NDA government is comprehensive and inclusive, which has covered all sections of society, all regions of the country and all aspects needing attention.” He has talked about the matters related to next-gen infrastructure for a new India. He wrote, “We are giving the added push to infrastructure projects and we have emphasized on timely completion of each and every project”.
