More than 1 crore children were vaccinated in three days in India. Vaccination of 15 to 18-year-olds has started from last 3rd January. As seen on Wednesday on the Cowin Portal dashboard, 1.29 crore children have so far received the first dose of the Corona vaccine. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya congratulated the people on the success of immunization of children.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is also overwhelmed by the success of immunization of children. He tweeted, “India’s youth community is leading the fight against Covid. 1 crore vaccination in 3 days is a sign of responsibility and enthusiasm of the youth community. ”
Since the beginning of the new year, vaccination of 15- to 18-year-olds has begun to sharpen in the Corona War. Young people of the country are getting the Corona vaccine from different centers by registering in the Co-Win app. According to the Kolkata Municipality, the vaccination of 15-16-year-olds has been started from January 3 in 16 schools.
The vaccine will also be available at 39 mega centers in Kolkata. Adolescents are required to carry Aadhaar card or school ID card for vaccination. The vaccination process has started in the state schools in the same manner.
