Just a year ago Mr. Spencer Cox was nominated as the Governor of Utah State. Although he is governing a small state of the USA his remarks on the incidents of 2021 are very much meaningful. While describing the “low points” of 2021 in America, he mentioned that everyone has a unique belief system, and based on that belief system they have a lack of faith in each other, lack of faith in government, and as a result of the polarization people are suffering a lot.
Based on their belief system, everyone is spreading misinformation. He mentioned- “misinformation is definitely killing people. And that’s sad.”
He also added that there are a lot of proofs that prove that there are certain individuals out there, who believe things that he knows are not true. 2021 was the worst year of the century in the USA where many incidents hit the country. One side COVID 19 and on another side many big incidents like January 6 capitol attack.
In the case of COVID19 people wanted to follow their own belief system and remain unprotected. In the case of the Capitol attack also, it is the same. Lack of faith and lack of true information ultimately killed people.
Despite “all the cynicism” and all the problems facing the nation, Mr. Governor is still hopeful for the best in near future in 2022.
