Prime Minister Narendra Modi could not reach his destination due to a traffic jam. The PM’s convoy was stuck on a bridge for about 15-20 minutes on its way to attend a program in Punjab. After that, he had to turn the convoy from there and return to the airport. According to news agencies, a group of protesters blocked Modi’s way.
But the reason for the protest is not the Prime Minister. Returning to the airport after the incident, Modi told the officials, “I came back alive, that’s a lot! I would like to thank the Chief Minister (Chief Minister of Punjab) for this. ”
The Prime Minister had a program at the National Martyrs’ Memorial in Hussainiwala, Punjab on Wednesday. He was scheduled to land at Bhatinda Airport in the morning and reach his destination by helicopter. But due to bad weather, he left the airport by car. The incident took place at a flyover on the way. A detailed report on the incident has also been sought from the Charanjit Channi government of Punjab.
BJP all-India president JP Naddar alleged that Chief Minister Channy was also called during the incident. But he did not pick up the phone. On Twitter, Nadda wrote, “The Prime Minister went to Punjab with a multi-billion crore development project. But the way he had to come back is very sad. The development of Punjab will not be hampered by such narrow-mindedness.
