Kashi Vishwanath Dham has been developed as a symbol to awaken the spiritual consciousness amongst people in India. However, there is a difference of opinion. Many are looking at this ambitious project as an edge of the ruling party over other parties in the upcoming elections. Few residents stated that the inauguration was timed perfectly to leverage the maximum benefit in the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh.
On Monday, Modi inaugurated the corridor of Sri Kashi Vishwanath Dham. This project is the gateway to river Ganga. It also has several facilities planned for the devotees. While inaugurating the first phase, Modi termed Kashi as “Avinashi”. He also added that we are witnessing a new history.
