“Iran has set up various proxy groups or military organizations in the Middle East to enhance its military capabilities, and they have become a major threat to the United States and its allies in the region,” said Michael Kurilla, a potential U.S. military chief, at a Senate Armed Services Committee review.

He says Iran has a wide range of short, medium, and long-range missiles that could be dangerous to the region as a whole.
General Michael Kurilla, also said Iran’s ground-to-air missiles and sophisticated technology posed a “huge threat” to US intelligence and reconnaissance operations in space. In addition, Iran’s naval cruise technology has strengthened Iran’s position.
