Gajendra Singh Shekhawat the Union minister and the current BJP’s in-charge for Punjab polls said that the saffron party and congress are likely to join hands and work together for the upcoming election polls in Punjab. Shekhawat conveyed that both the parties are in talks to sort this out.
Shekhawat added that congress and BJP share similar viewpoints and are like-minded, therefore, working together will prove to be beneficial for the people of the state. According to Shekhawat, Punjab has slipped to 16th position in the growth list of India. Punjab is lagging and needs to work on different aspects to get back on track.
Punjab is currently in a huge financial mess and is paying an exorbitant amount of interest for the debt they are carrying. The employment in Punjab is not noteworthy, they stand far behind the other states. Keeping the current status of Punjab in mind, Shekhawat asked the BJP workers to bring forward the real face of the political parties who are trying to befool the people of the state by promising false things.
