The center aims to complete the first vaccination of 15- to 18-year-olds by January. Aurora is optimistic about reaching that goal. Their second vaccination will begin in the first week of February. Aurora said there was a good response to the program at the beginning. More than 42 lakh adolescents have been vaccinated on the first day.

“Vaccination of 12- to 14-year-olds will begin in late February or the first week of March,” he said. Health Minister Mansukh Mandavya has issued a stamp commemorating the first anniversary of immunization.

The health minister said 80 percent of the country’s adults have been vaccinated so far. The second phase of the vaccination program will start from March 1. It is expected that boys between the ages of 12 and 14 will be vaccinated from that day.
