The country’s economy is turning around after overcoming the corona crisis. This was stated by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman while presenting the economic survey in Parliament on Monday. On the first day of the budget session, Sitaraman told parliament that the GDP growth rate would be 9.2 percent in 2021-22 and 6 to 7.5 percent in 2022-23.

Today, on the first day of the budget session, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the economic survey in the Lok Sabha. The government claims that the country is on the path of economic growth by overcoming the crisis. It is worth mentioning that the third wave of the Corona epidemic has hit the economy a bit.

The economy contracted to 7.3 percent in the 2020-21 fiscal year, raising concerns at the center. Since then, it has announced several public welfare projects and concessions. By announcing ‘Mega Economic Package’, the Center is eager to deliver money to the common man or consumers. The aim is to boost the economy by increasing market demand. That effort has largely been successful, as claimed in today’s Economic Survey.
