Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said that he will work to rid the state of corruption and communal riots. He said that those antisocial elements and many more things are about to change and will close down soon. This was the last and final speech of Yogi Adityanath’s as a Lok Sabha MP. Days after he was sworn-in as the CM of UP, Adityanath spoke in the Lok-Sabha, appreciating the efforts of PM Modi. He described Modi as the “mascot of development” for the world. Yogi said in his speech, “We will work together to make Uttar Pradesh free from corruption and hooliganism. We shall prepare a development model and it will be presented in front of Uttar Pradesh which will prevent distress migration of youths for jobs”.
The five-time Member of Parliament, Mr. Adityanath from Gorakhpur resigned today from Parliament in order to take up his new assignment for the Chief Minister post of Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister and the head priest of the ‘Gorakhnath Math’ started his speech, in the Lok Sabha by praising PM Narendra Modi’s ‘economic vision’. He talked about the economy of India. How the economy had rebounded since 2014, after Modi Government, with Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth propelling India to one of the fastest economically growing countries in the world. In his speech, he also said that no discrimination against any caste or class will be practiced in the state and law and order will be upheld. Extending an invite to visit Uttar Pradesh under his leadership, Yogi Adityanath said that UP will be the land of Prime Minister Modi’s dreams and he will generate jobs for youngsters.
Adityanath also said that Narendra Modi had done a lot for Uttar Pradesh, especially for his zone Gorakhpur. The Yogi said that Prime Minister Modi had reopened 2 fertilizer factories that had shut down 26 years ago. According to CM Mr. Adityanath, they are trying to open an AIIMS hospital in Gorakhpur which will serve to alleviate the Japanese encephalitis crisis in Eastern zone of Uttar Pradesh.
Yogi Adityanath claimed the credit for bringing changes in Gorakhpur, which he admitted earlier, did not enjoy a positive image among people. According to him now, no trader in Gorakhpur paid “goonda tax”, and there are no communal riots in Easter UP. The town did not witness incidents of abduction. He said, “We will be successful by working together, in generating the same situation as like as Gorakhpur, in Uttar Pradesh.” The new CM said that the Union government’s Ujjwala scheme of LPG gas connections for poor housewives had resulted in gains for rural women. Now, no longer they had to worry about fetching firewood for cooking.
Yogi Adityanath promised a corruption-free and riot-free government that will bring the “development model to all”. Union Minister had allotted 2.5 Lakh crore rupees for development but previous government had not spent one-third of the allocated budget. New CM of UP has promised to implement all those development schemes but how people will believe him? It is obvious that he has changed the look and cultural situation of Gorakhpur. That is why people of UP have faith on him as their next avatar.
