The United Kingdom and Canada, two other NATO members, have extended their hand in providing arms and military assistance to protect Ukraine from Russian aggression. Germany has also decided to send field hospitals to Ukraine to provide wartime medical assistance.

A statement from the U.S. embassy in Ukraine on Saturday said military aid sent by Washington had reached Kyiv. It contains as much as 200,000 pounds of lethal explosives and ammunition for front-line resistance fighters.

Earlier, the United Kingdom sent anti-tank missiles to Ukraine last week. The Baltic states have also decided to send Stinger air defense missiles and Javelin anti-tank missiles to Ukraine. The Baltic defense ministers said they had already received US approval.

Meanwhile, a US State Department spokesman told the media that the Biden administration had approved 200 million in additional assistance to meet Ukraine’s urgent military needs. Under this, military weapons and other aid will be sent to Ukraine in the coming weeks.

Biden also warned that Russia would have to pay a high price for testing Western powers. However, Moscow has repeatedly said that there will be no military action in Ukraine.
