But those are the past.
The Taliban have been fighting and occupying Afghanistan for almost 20 years. Their rule has been established. Since then, they have been busy erasing all traces of the US military. One of the additions is this historic building in Ghazni. It has recently been opened to the public. Today, Mullah Habibullah Mujahid, the head of the Taliban’s culture department, is in a frenzy. The city of Ghazni is about 150 kilometers from the capital Kabul.
The region has a history of three and a half thousand years. In his words, ‘Today we will write the latest history of victory. The next generation will know that we have defeated America. ‘He also called himself the greatest power in the world. Hajibullah claimed that about 20 US soldiers had been killed during the fighting in Ghazni.
