According to the Chief Election Commissioner, people above the age of 60, physically disabled, and suffering from Covid can vote from home. He further said that Vivipat will be available in each booth. In order to maintain the transparency of the election, live broadcasts will be arranged in one lakh booths.

The meeting also raised questions about the election campaign. Political parties have also requested the commission to ensure that no publicity or meeting is held in violation of the Covid guidelines. The Chief Election Commissioner said, “We have heard about all the parties. They are also thinking about the issues they have raised. We are also trying to ensure that no voter abstains from voting. ”

The final list of voters will be released by January 5, the Chief Election Commissioner said. At the same time, the voting time has been extended by one hour. According to them, the voting will start at 8 am and will continue till 6 pm.
