Prime Minister Narendra Modi again came to Uttarpradesh for the second time, but this time he came to lay the foundation stone of the new highway project. Just a few days ago he inaugurated the Kashi Bishwanath Corridor. On Saturday, December 16, Modi laid the foundation stone of the Ganga Expressway. In both places, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Yogi Adityanath was present. Incidentally, early next year assembly elections will be held in the Yogi state of Uttar Pradesh.
On Saturday, the Prime Minister praised the outgoing Chief Minister of the voting state. “The winds of development are blowing fast in Uttar Pradesh,” Modi said. The mafias are panicking in that wind. As soon as they open their eyes, they see a bulldozer. The bulldozer has become the symbol of the Chief Minister to break the illegal construction. That is why people are saying, “UP is a yogi, very useful.”
According to sources in the Prime Minister’s Office, the proposed cost of constructing a 594 km long six-lane expressway has been estimated at Tk 36,200 crore. The expressway will start from Bijauli village in Meerut, then Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardai, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh and will end at Jadupur Dandu village in Prayagraj. It will also have a three-and-a-half-kilometer-long aircraft landing area.
