Yogi has visited Noida more than once during his five-year rule. He completed his first five-year term as the first Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and returned to the Chief Minister’s chair for the second time.
In 1986, the then Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Bir Bahadur Singh visited Okhla Industrial Area. District- Gautam Buddha Nagar. Bir Bahadur had to resign within a few days. That was the beginning of Noida-panic in Uttar Pradesh politics.
Narayan Bahadur Tiwari became the Chief Minister in place of Bir Bahadur. He also went to Noida. He then lost the 1989 assembly election.
