In this 21st century, we are talking about human development, digital life, education, and many more things but what is the meaning? Ultimately what’s the purpose of life, if there is no humanity in the society? This type of incidents actually shows the degradation of life and the degradation of social culture. A terrible video, apparently shot by an onlooker where a man was seen engulfed in flames on the highway in Beed district of Maharashtra. Actually, there was a horrible accident between two bike riders. One of the bikers got trapped under the wrecked bikes after the accident. And later those bikes caught fire. Both the bikers lost their lives after the incident.
The bikers could not yell for help as they sustained a serious injury on their heads in the accident. A lot of people could be seen in the video but no one extends his hand to help the injured man. When help arrived and police put the fire out, the bikers were somewhat signed to the point that they could not be recognized. As the number plates were also burnt, the police could not get any other details about the victim. The police are investigating the matter and they are saying that the possibility of catching fire is the alcohol. One of the bikers carrying alcohol and that was the reason catching fire.
Whatever may the reason, it is very clear from the video, that humanity has been lost in the society. Always people tried to blame the government for most of the past cases of a road accident. “Government should make a good road, the government should make a system, govt. should restrict alcohol but I am the right to break the traffic rules and I am the right to take alcohol. No one is worried about road safety or any fundamental rules. We are very much worried about our own safety without knowing the actual facts. This is the first thing and mindset that we need to change to improve our safety culture.
The 2nd thing is the humanity. If someone is under trouble, obviously this is very horrible incident; people should help them at least for the lives. Peoples are watching, making videos. Everywhere we need entertainment. For this case, no one even informed the police also. Fortunately, police were passing through the road and could see the incident. But unfortunately, both of them have lost their lives. Till now they are unidentifiable due to their burnt body. Number plates of those bikes also got burnt and damaged. Maharashtra police are trying to identify the number plates of those bikes through the help of plate maker.
