It’s not a new thing for Mamata Banerjee, but this time not in West Bengal, but in Goa, she announces Rs 5000 to women of every household, if she wins the upcoming state assembly elections in Goa. On behalf of Goa Trinamool Congress, she told that they will ensure the monthly income of every public and for that, they have introduced Grihalakshmi Card. It was also written on Twitter on behalf of Trinamool, that in this new scheme, each family will get Rs 60000 per year directly into the bank account of the women member of their family.
No doubt, people will be attracted to this scheme because of the current economical situation in India due to the Covid pandemic but as responsible citizens, people should not show their attraction and give their valuable vote on the basis of some money. The simple equation for Ms. Mamata Banerjee is- spend money on people for their short-term demand and buy votes in elections. She never believes in developmental work or the country’s growth as a nation, she always believes in her personal growth in Indian politics.
