The BJP is set to announce the names of chief ministers in four states after the ‘Holi Purnima’ on Friday. On Monday, the BJP’s parliamentary board selected Amit Shah and Raghubar Das as co-observers for Uttar Pradesh. According to BJP sources, the observers have been appointed to select the leaders of the legislative parties in four states, including Uttar Pradesh.

In Uttar Pradesh, where Yogi Aditynath had fielded, the party has won the election for the second time, and even the cabinet has been formed to prepare for his swearing-in as chief minister for the second time.

Although it is not correct, according to many in politics, a cold war has erupted between Amit Shah and Yogi Adityanath over who is the second in power in the BJP after the Uttar Pradesh elections.

According to a BJP source, the Union Home Minister has been given the responsibility of electing the leader of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Party who will officially announce the name of the Yogi. The team also selected Rajnath Singh and Meenakshi Lekhi for Uttarakhand, Nirmala Sitharaman, and Kiren Rijiju for Manipur, and Narendra Singh Tomar and El Murugan for Goa.
