The Telugu Dasam Party (TDP) will become the second party after Shiv Sena to the fallout of an alliance with The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) if their hints are credible. In a press statement on Saturday, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu hinted that the alliance might come to an end over disagreements with the BJP. He asserted that if the BJP wishes not to continue with their alliance in Andhra Pradesh, then the TDP was ready to cruise on its own. The statement came as a backdrop to accusations from the TDP party to BJP claiming that they no longer are committed to ‘Mitra Dharma’ and probably as self-assurance move as witnessed when Shiv Sena fell out with the BJP.
Naidu averred that their party was still committed to Mitra Dharma while local BJP leaders do the contrary by crossing the limit. He added that he is controlling his party members despite fierce criticism from BJP party officials.
TDP Partially accuses NITI
Nara Chandrababu veiled mild accusations towards Rajiv Kumar, NITI Aayog ‘sVice Chairman over his statement given Andhra Pradesh state. Rajiv said the TDP needed hand-holding while resisting high economic growth. Nara responded by saying that Rajiv and associates did not understand the situation in the state yet they speak. Nara reiterated that the state is registering highest economic growth.
Naidu asked the leaders at the BJP to look into the allegations made by their local leaders to ascertain the truth. He demanded that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi as a leader of the central government offer support to the state until it falls at the same level with other states,

He asked that there should be a way the Centre can compensate them for the financial disputes caused by the states split.
Accusations by the BJP
BJP state leaders continue to criticize the TDP on various matters with the indication that they are better off working with their opponents – YSR Congress Party. The opposition has also indicated that they are willing to work with BJP. BJP may not be moved by the threat of TDP falling out of the alliance.
