The Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir is calm above all. But before Republic Day, detectives believe- there is a possibility of a large-scale attack in Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir. As a result, on the one hand, the Delhi Police has emphasized counter-terrorism operations. In addition, the BSF has been warned at the Indo-Pakistan international border. Anti-drone technology has been deployed due to the possibility of drone strikes.
Today, Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana said, “Militants are keeping an eye on Delhi all the time. We are working hand in hand with other security agencies. ”
Asthana said that in the last two months, Delhi Police has stepped up operations in 26 cases. These include regular car searches, hotel-lodge searches, inquiries into the identities of tenants, workers, and servants from outside Delhi. Police have deployed a total of 26,623 personnel to protect the capital. Among them are 71 Deputy Commissioners, 213 Assistant Commissioners, 853 Inspectors, and Delhi Police Commander. There are also 75 companies of paramilitaries deployed.
On the other hand, the Army, BSF, and Jammu & Kashmir Police have also learned about the possibility of attack and unrest in Jammu and Kashmir through intelligence sources. Today, BSF’s Kashmir Range IG Raja Babu Singh and Jammu Range IG DK Bura said that there may be an attempt to create unrest on Republic Day, according to intelligence sources. So the highest level of warning has been issued at the border.
