India and Australia are again on the way to strengthening bilateral relations further. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has expressed interest in returning valuable historical material to India, along with huge trade deals, joint decisions on multiple projects.

In the virtual meeting with Prime Minister Modi, the Australian PM promised to return a total of 26 items. Most of the items are known to be Hindu architecture. Modi has examined those materials. Foreign Secretary Harshvardhan Sringla said this after a meeting between the Prime Ministers of the two countries on Monday.

This meeting on Monday is happening after 2 years. The first such discussion was done between India and Australia in June 2020. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Scott Morrison sat in the second bilateral meeting Today. Everyone thought that the main discussion would be on international issues.  But the issue of war did not come up in the talks between the two Prime Ministers. In the Pacific region, the two sides reportedly talked about increasing security. It has also been discussed that assistance in the humanitarian sector will also be increased.
