The number of corona cases in the country is increasing rapidly. In this context, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sat down with the Chief Ministers of various states on Thursday afternoon to review the overall situation in the country. All the Chief Ministers were present at the meeting.
The Prime Minister had earlier announced that a meeting would be called with the Chief Ministers to discuss the Corona situation and public health in each state. That’s how this virtual covid-meeting was called on Thursday.
Just a few days ago it was decided by the election committee for virtual meetings before the upcoming election in 5 states, considering the current Covid situation. Although experts say that the intensity of the Omicron variant is not that much deadly but the delta variant is still growing rapidly. Even after 2 doses, with boosters also people are being infected by the delta variant.
