Earlier this week, four members of The Resistance Front (TRF) were arrested in Srinagar. This was followed by a shootout. Police believe some militants may still be hiding in Chermarg. A joint team of army, paramilitary forces, and police have been working to bring the residents of the area to a safe distance even before the firing started.
Hunt for militants continues in Jammu and Kashmir. One militant was reported killed in a gun battle between the army and militants on Saturday morning. The army raided Chermarg in the Jainapora area of Shopian on Saturday morning after receiving information that the militants were hiding. Fighting broke out during the search operation. According to news one militant has already been killed in the shootout. The gunbattle is still going on.
The Indian military is trying their best to fight against terrorism on the Pak border but still, the nuisance is there. At least people have hope, as all Indians have confidence in the capability of the Indian military force and the strategies which are being made by the Indian government.
