This time Congress plans to deploy Priyanka Gandhi to the areas where the CM of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee campaigns. Congress seems to have big plans for Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress. TMC has defamed itself lately for poaching its leaders and not sparing any space for criticism.
As the opposition party led by Rahul Gandhi attempts to support them in the case of suspension of their 12 MPs from the Parliament, Derek O’Brien of TMC posts tweet saying that Congress is trying to get away with all the credits for getting all the oppositions together.
Unlike the leaders of TMC, who never let go of a single chance to mock the Gandhis, Congress leaders don’t indulge in such banters. The key reason for this show of serenity is – their plan.
They have planned to use the power of females. People have been surprised to see Priyanka Gandhi interacting with women in Goa. However, it has been a casual visit. It has been just a trial run before the actual encounter with Mamata Banerjee.
The CM of Bengal does not shy away from spreading her wings. The Gandhi-led Congress is well aware of their low electoral record. They know that getting engaged in a verbal match with TMC can be costly for them.
