The national capital Delhi is seeing yet another rise in coronavirus wave. This time it is omicron that is spreading in the city. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal does not want to leave anything to chance with omicron. He has stated on Monday that if the need comes to push, Delhi is going to impose a strict restriction to prevent omicron from affecting the lives of the citizens.
The CM has declared that Delhi is all set to brave out the third wave of coronavirus. However, to defy the omicron threat, they may have to impose strict restrictions.
However, right at the moment, there is no need to panic. The government has not seen any reason to impose a strict restriction upon the lives of the citizens at the current moment. On the flip side, Delhi is gearing up for school reopening. Even though nothing has been decided yet, the CM has hinted that a decision will be taken after the winter vacation is over.
Delhi Government may impose some restrictions around Christmas and New Year eve to prevent omicron spread. But the CM has maintained that currently the citizens can maintain their normal lifestyle and there is no need for any restrictions.
