Maybe another big negative indication for Bharatiya Janata Party is waiting in the recent by-polls in MP. Recently the victory of Congress in three by-polls in Rajasthan has rung the bell for BJP. And this time it is going to happen in MP. The recent by-polls in MP is giving a positive indication for Congress and they are so confident that already they have prepared for the victory celebration. The recent by-polls in MP had taken place on 24th February and counting will be done on Wednesday. There are total 22 and 13 contestants in fray for the 2 seats only. The voting has taken place in Kolaras and Mungaoli.
But the political equations are saying a different thing. The analysis and equations are saying that the chance for winning is 50-50 for both Congress and BJP. Two seats in MP are expected to alter political equations within both Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Actually, the results are the last opportunity for a show of strength for both the parties before they lock the pattern later this year for the main Assembly election. Although BJP has not shown any sign, Congress is in full mood for their celebration. Today the IT Cell of the Congress had already issued an invitation to media for the “victory” celebrations at their office of Pradesh Congress Committee office at 11 am in the morning on Wednesday.
The voting has done on 24th February 2018 in both the constituencies, Kolaras and Mungaoli constituencies and counting of votes will be held tomorrow. Riding on the mass support base of the state Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Congress is expecting to win in both seats while the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party is hoping that three-times Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Chouhan has enough left in the pot to pull through in this by polls.
A political analyst said the similar thing that, If insiders in those two parties are to be believed, then the Congress has emerged as the favorite for both the seats. The ruling BJP failed to rein in its internal discontent. And it will make it pay heavily for the poll’s results. The analyst also said that said that it will be a big loss for BJP and it can set an alarm bell in the party. Because, in all the recent by-polls in Rajasthan, they lost heavily.
On the other hand, if Scindia does help his Congress win at both the seats, it can give him a perfect platform to lead the Congress party charge in MP, where the national Congress has been itching to dethrone Bharatiya Janata Party since 2003. although the voting percentage didn’t give any indication or any hint as to where the pendulum will be swing but Congress is in full swing for celebration. Total 70% votes were polled on Saturday. Last time the voting percentage was better than this. In 2008 it was more than 71 % and in 2013, it was around 73.
