The first death toll in Omicron was found in the country. A 63-year-old man died of UMIC in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The Rajasthan government said so on Wednesday. According to the Rajasthan Health Department, the man had two corona vaccines. He also had some comorbidities like diabetes and high blood pressure.

The man is a resident of Laxminarayan Nagar. According to the health department, the man was infected with Covid on December 15. He was admitted to the hospital then. His genes were tested because of the high levels of the virus in his body. After that Omicron’s presence was detected in his body.

According to hospital sources, he has not gone anywhere in recent times. He was at home. It is learned that no one came in contact with him. So far, 2,135 people have been infected in the country. The highest in Maharashtra (653). Then there is Delhi (484).
