By this time, we all are well aware of the power of Facebook. It is one of the most used social media platforms till yet and is really massive too. Endless users are addicted to it as they post statuses, upload photos and videos and surf through it on daily basis. This social media platform has definitely made long distance communication easier and faster but at the same time, it has been a little or much unsuccessful in filtering the content which is posted by the users. He plans to develop and advance the systems with the help of human intelligence.
According to Mark, the AI, that is artificial intelligence, promises to filter user content perfectly. He is also giving permission to AI to review the posted content completely. This will be a big step in identifying violence, terrorism, suicide attempts, bullying and any other harassment or negativity that aims towards exploitation.
This problem has been targeted many times, making Facebook less secure with each passing day. A lot of people decided to call it quits from Facebook too and that is why Mark is making efforts to improve the system. On the top of it all, Mark has accepted the flaws himself that have ended up making Facebook less secure and allowed a lot of violence to take place in his platform. However, he is not more than ever determined to take steps to make this all correct by taking strong and large measures so that he can attempt to what he aims at.
Mark has explained that he is trying to develop plans through which he can balance the content that is being posted on his platform and it does not offend a large group of people anyhow. But due to millions of people using and uploading things daily on Facebook, many wrong decisions have been taken and implemented too. Facebook has been targeted for not removing things or posts that lead to very dangerous consequences and Mark was totally unaware of them too until it was obviously too late. He has recently stressed a lot on removing the Naplam Girl photograph and also the removal of black lives matter movement videos is being taken seriously by Mark.
It is stated that the system that is being developed is not only going to review the written content but it is going to be capable of looking into photos and videos too, to see whether it is okay to go live on social media or not. However, the system is in its beginning development stages and it will obviously take the time to come out properly and shine brightly in the world. But we hope that this time Mark won’t be disappointing his Facebook audience and will certainly enhance the system.
