Attempts have been made in the Congress party to stop the internal noise within their party. In a meeting with Sonia Gandhi on the eve of Holi, Ghulam Nabi Azad, the leader of the party’s disaffected group, discussed some new proposals.
Sources who have come forward to stop the constant noise in the Congress party are to form a parliamentary board to decide the party policy in the style of BJP for the time being by accepting the leadership of Sonia Gandhi. Earlier, Sonia had formed a committee to run the party. But the leaders of the Gandhi family were predominant there.
The Congress party has a plan to reorganize this committee and give place to the disgruntled leaders. In other words, the disgruntled leaders of the G-23 group will play an important role in shaping the party’s policies and tactics in the future without leaving the party. Congress sources claimed that Ghulam Nabi did not bring any organizational election of the Congress or any such demand.
However, in the current situation, the leaders of the two camps think that Rahul does not want to take responsibility for the Congress party. In that case, the idea of making a leader outside the Gandhi family the president of the Congress came to the fore.
