Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah has made explosive allegations about Kashmir files. Farooq alleged that the BJP government had made the film tax-free to spread more hatred in the minds of the people.

The movie ‘Kashmir Files’ directed by Vivek Agnihotri has been at the center of controversy since its release. Insanity is again raging across the country around this picture. There is also a political debate surrounding the film. According to Farooq Abdullah, this Kashmir Files is a publicity stunt. Farooq started his drama, saying that the picture that is piercing the old wound, is the wound that affected both the Hindu and Muslim communities of the country. After that, he added, “My heart is still bleeding for that incident.”
A commission should be set up to investigate what happened to Kashmiri scholars. Similarly, Farooq said a committee should be set up to look into what happened to Sikhs and Muslims in Kashmir in 1990.
