In Punjab, the day of voting is an indication of a new equation. According to sources, if necessary, the Akali Dal can hold the hand of the Bharatiya Janata Party again. The top leader of Shiromani Akali Dal, Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia, hinted today. Although he said that he will think after the vote but his theme of the statement hinted that they are willing to do the alliance with the BJP.

In 2020, this Akali Dal left the BJP in protest of the recent amendment in the Agriculture Act. Shiromani Akali Dal is also directly involved in the movement against the central government.

In 2020, people thought that the relationship of Akali Dal with BJP will come to an end forever according to their languages in which the leaders of the Akali Dal were regularly attacking the BJP. No one thought the situation will change but it has been changed. The Agriculture Law by Center has withdrawn, which was main the issue on which the Akali-BJP split. So, there is no obstacle for the Akalis to hold the hand of BJP again.
