Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to French President Emmanuel Macron and European Council President Charles Michel over the phone today. They had a talk with PM Modi at a time when war is going on between Russia and Ukraine and during this time an Indian has also lost his life. Charles Michel tweeted that he expressed grief over the death of an Indian student in Kharkiv in the Russian attacks. Charles Michel said that European countries are helping wholeheartedly in the evacuation process of Indian citizens from the War zone of Ukraine.
Charles Michel said- “I expressed my condolences to PMO India for the loss of life of an Indian student in Kharkiv today due to indiscriminate Russian attacks against innocent civilians.”
After the death of the Indian student, the ambassadors were summoned from the embassies of Russia and Ukraine by the Indian foreign ministry. After which the Ambassador of Ukraine was seen leaving the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was told that India has reacted strongly to the death of the student. Along with this, he talked about evacuating the Indians present in Kharkiv safely.
