The term of the Manipur Legislative Assembly will end this year in the third week of March 2022. On 28th February, voting will be started. While all the parties are busy campaigning to ensure their victory, the Chief Minister of Manipur is quite sure that this time also the BJP will form the government.

Although some pre-poll surveys have predicted a hung assembly in Manipur, CM Biren is very much confident about BJP’s victory. According to the pre-poll survey, it was being said that the possibility of a hung assembly can be seen in these state elections.

Mr. Biren said that there are 60 assembly seats in Manipur and they have 29 sitting MLAs. On the other hand, looking at his hold among the public, it can be said that he has more chances in this election. He said that they need only a few seats to form the government, which is not very difficult for them.

On the other hand, regarding the internal differences of the party, Singh said “yes it is true that many party leaders were angry about not getting tickets, but we are not able to give tickets to everyone”. He also added, “For the time being, those people have understood this and the party has become strong once again. Let us tell you that in this assembly election, BJP is bringing candidates on all 60 seats”.
