India stood by Tonga devastated by the eruption and tsunami. New Delhi has announced a US $ 200,000 financial package for the disaster-stricken island nation.

According to the report, quoting the Indian Foreign Ministry, Tonga will be handed over two lakh US dollars or one and a half crore rupees on an emergency basis. New Delhi also expressed its condolences to the people and government of the troubled country. It is to be noted that on January 15, the small island adjacent to the Pacific Ocean faced the wrath of nature.

Satellite imagery shows that the Tonga volcano eruption in the South Pacific has erupted. The eruption begins. The area is covered with black ash and smoke. The epicenter was reported below the Pacific Ocean floor, however; no tsunami alert was issued. All the giant waves were crashing on the Tonga coast. The flood situation is created overnight.

As a result of such a double whammy, the Internet service was cut off. The Pacific island of Tonga is also isolated from the outside world. A plane landed at Tonga’s main airport with emergency supplies, including drinking water, medicine, and temporary tents, with the help of its military forces.
