Former Goa MLA Labu Mamledar joined the Trinamool last September. Labu was also seen with the Trinamool leader during Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s recent visit, to Goa. But suddenly on Friday, he announced his departure from the grassroots. At the same time, the ruling party of Bengal has accused Goa of having a communal attitude.

In a letter sent to Mamata, Labu Prashant also complained about the teenage company IPAC. He claimed that the organization hired by the Trinamool Congress to campaign for the Assembly elections in Goa was unable to understand the sentiments of Goa. Labor also alleged that the TMC is creating divisions among the people on the basis of religion.

Last September, Labu joined the Trinamool along with former Goa Chief Minister and Trinamool MP in the Rajya Sabha Luzinho Fellero.  MLA Labu is now angry over the MGP’s closeness with the Trinamool. The Trinamool has recently joined hands with the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) in Goa.   Regarding Labu’s resignation on Friday, MP Faleiro said, “The party is working towards a specific goal in Goa. That goal will remain unchanged. No one’s decision will affect that. “
