A few days ago West Bengal CM and TMC leader Ms. Mamata Banerjee, compiled a full list of candidates ignoring the recommendation of Prashant Kishore (PK), head of the consulting firm IPAC. Mamata then clarified her authority over political decisions. After the huge victory of the Trinamool in the municipality, rumors are being heard in the party camp about the Trinamool Congress-PK relationship again.

A section of the Trinamool Congress thinks that no one else can take the credit for winning the election. This achievement is entirely due to the political foundation and leadership of the party.

However, no leader wants to open his mouth about the issue. Trinamool Rajya Sabha leader Derek O’Brien said, “We have a five-year contract with IPAC. We are working closely with each other to win the vote. ” Although he did not say the news from party sources, this anger is being created that PK is trying to take the ‘credit of victory’.

In an interview today, PK was heard to say, “Be it Modiji or Mamata Banerjee – I am not claiming any credit for their victory.” Suddenly the question arises as to why he has to say this.

Claiming that he had “failed” as a politician, PK said, “The opposition will find its face only through the democratic process. There is no face of land acquisition movement or anti-CAA or peasant movement. ” A few days ago, PK had said that the issue of grassroots expansion in the states was ‘over hyped’. His remarks naturally created discomfort and anger among the TMC.
