Many IT firms in India have ordered to step up attendance at the office in the middle of this year. However, the plan to increase office attendance has been stalled by the second COVID19 wave. It has been seen that work from home reduces the organizational ethos. More so, at the time of hiring spike up in the IT sector.

However, the IT companies are now gearing up to revive office life by getting back at least 50% of the employees by mid of 2022. The work from the office is about to get started slowly though. Employees will be asked to attend office for certain days of the week if the third wave of COVID19 remains under control.

From a recent report released by the management agencies of the IT companies, it is clear that organizations all over the country want to scale up employee attendance along with the organizational operations. However, this does not mean that the IT companies are turning blind eye to the omicron spread. Rather the organizations are going to monitor the omicron spread across the country.

Employees who fall under the age group of 45 may have to resume work from office life and start attending office twice or thrice a week.
