After implementing proper measures and a vaccination plan, now India is all set to beat the pandemic. According to the Union Health Ministry, India recorded 5,784 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. It is said to be the lowest in nearly 19 months. The number of active COVID-19 cases stands at 88,993, the lowest number since March 2020.
In the last one and half month India logged less than 15 thousand cases, which is a sharp decline in the Covid graph. The total count of coronavirus cases now stands at 3, 47,03,644 in India. The number of recovered patients was recorded at 3,41,38,763 according to the data supplied by Union Health Ministry. A total number of 4,75,888 deaths were recorded in the country, with Maharashtra reporting the highest number. 43,170 COVID-19 death cases were recorded from Kerala, 38,268 cases from Karnataka, 25,100 from the Capital of India, and 19,610 from West Bengal.
The Government of India has taken the initiative to fight coronavirus with vaccination drives in different states. This proved to be worth it as the spread of this deadly virus has declined and the number of fresh cases is going down. The total number of vaccine doses of COVID-19 administered in India has crossed 133 crores.
