“The Indian Muslims are the most shameless community who cannot speak up against any injustice. Is this what our Prophet has taught us? Is this what ‘salafs’ (followers of prophets) has taught us? They gave their blood during the wars and martyrdom for the honor of our sisters”- Al- Qaeda operative Zakir Musa commented on Indian Muslims. On Monday, in his first message as al-Qaeda operative, Former ‘Hizbul Mujahideen’ commander Zakir Musa released an audio recording slamming Indian Muslims for not joining Islamic jihad for ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’. ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’ is the final and Muslims’last battle for the conquest of India.
Jammu & Kashmir’s state police department has confirmed it was Musa’s voice. Musa reiterated that the war is not just limited to Jammu and Kashmir on the background of the recent enormity against Muslims religion in India, according to him; it is the war in between Islam and the infidel. He released his audio clip via Telegram and WhatsApp groups. He has spoken it in Kashmiri-accented Urdu, against an al-Qaeda banner with a world map added along with two rifles emblazoned on two sides.
Jakir Musa has quit Hizbul Mujahideen after threatening to behead Kashmiri separatists. He begins his audio message with a call to his Muslim supporters to come and join him with. He said, “There is no need to clarify anything but those who claim to represent me must visit me with and I will serve them well”. Several Hizbul fighters suspect that a personal messenger close to Jakir Musa had tipped off the Kashmir police about the location of Mr. Sabzar Ahmad Bhat’s hideout. Sabzar Ahmed was killed in an encounter close to his hometown of Tral. Mr. Musa then goes on talk about a rape case of a Muslim woman in Bijnor. He said, “It is shameful that Muslims of India are spineless and don’t react against the perpetrators of such crimes”. The commander, who earlier had called for the public hanging of All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders in Jammu and Kashmir, calls the Indian Muslims most unconscionable He said, “Indian Muslims are most unconscionable and really they have forgotten about the battle of Badr”. He said it before going on to talk about the issue of Indian cow vigilantism. He also said, “My blood boils when I see Indian Muslims being attacked by ‘gau rakshaks’ and they should form groups to take part in the conquest of Hind.”
The audio clip was described with various Islamic quotes in English, Hindi and Urdu and pictures of al Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden killed in 2011 by US Navy Seals in Pakistan. A background quote said, “The fact that the whole nation and also whole world is against one religion shows that how powerful that religion is Islam”. The clip also carried a background display of al Qaeda’s recruiter Imam Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed in 2011, picture and quote, “The result is that Islam will win at the end.”
