We have been through a lot of rumors about iPhone 8. It is going to be smaller in size, it will be this and it will be that but to be honest, all the rumors make us think that this one is not going to be adored just like the iPhone 7 series hasn’t been appreciated much. Till now, I have seen my friends and IOS crazy people praising iPhone 6s and Plus and my friend even switched back to 6s after buying and checking out iPhone 7 for a week or so.
Anyways, coming back to iPhone 8; the rumors are that it will be introducing wireless charging. And the experts say that this is not going to be as great as it might sound at the moment. This news is really big as we have been hearing it for the last 5 years and Google and Samsung have already attempted on it too. Apple just seemed to come down gradually to this.
But why is it that the wireless charging in iPhone 8 now is seeming nothing less than a stupid thing? This is because it is not offering any new level of wireless charging in comparison to the Android phones. Yes, you heard me right. When we talk about Apple Inc. we all seem to get out hopes high and the standards with whatever Apple has to offer are far better than Android smartphones. But it is heard that Apple has settled for QI which is the same wireless charging tech that an Android mobile will also bring to you. So it is better that Apple should drop the idea of wireless charging at the moment and wait for it to be more powerful first.
Apple wanted to tie the launch and improvement in its wireless charging with by Energous, a great tech company. However, the solution that this company came up with or the one that FCC approved of, isn’t much of a big catch and thus, Apple decided to settle down for QI. So a quick advice for Apple Inc. is to not drop their level and maybe wait for another year. If they are not all set to blow our minds with some next level wireless charging then they should not bring it in at all at the moment. A little more patience is going to do fine with the IOS fans but we cannot see Apple settling for just a random wireless charging technology.
The iPhone 8 is nowhere near to its release as we all know that it won’t happen before September anyhow. The amount of rejections and disappointments that Apple has gathered from this rumor are enough to make them change their mind, though. So if in the coming week or month I hear that Apple is not having wireless charging in iPhone 8 then I will definitely believe in that and maybe take a deep breath of relaxation too. Until they don’t blow off our minds, they aren’t Apple Inc.; are they?
