Mulayam Singh Yadav changed his tune regarding the alliance between Samajwadi Party and Congress. Even a few days ago his expression was against the alliance, but on 5th Feb Mulayam said that he will campaign for SP and congress both the party. And recently on 19th February, he declared that after the party wins the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Akhilesh Yadav would be the CM and Shivpal would join the cabinet as a minister next to him. A few days ago, Shibpal declared that he will construct a new party, and Mulayam was not happy with this statement but recently he said that it was spoken by Shibpal angrily.
“Aamar Singh naraz nehi ha. Koi matbhed nehi hai. Akhilesh hi hoga aglaa CM. Nehi to aur kaun hoga?: Mulayam Singh Yadav says
“Amar Singh is not angry. No conflict is there. Akhilesh will be the next CM” Mulayam Singh Yadav says.
Mulayam also replied against PM Modi’s quotation- “Akhilesh has tried to rob his state” that people will say what Akhilesh has done. People want Akhilesh to be their next CM. people will vote for him. He also said he is with Akhilesh and will be with AKhilesh forever. Akhilesh also expressed his love to his father.
Only few days ago the picture was completely different. Everyone was shocked by Mulayam Singh Yadav’s announcement on 30th January in Lucknow , that he is against the Cong-SP alliance, forged by party President Akhilesh Yadav, and that he will not campaign for the SP congress alliance. “It is another setback for the UP CM who is wading into uncharted water” he said. Mulayam’s decision hearted Akhilesh’s campaign psychologically as his followers have insisted that Akhilesh had his father’s blessings after he took over the party’s reins from Mulayam. Akhilesh was already battling 5 years of anti-incumbency, very strong chances of internal sabotage in the elections and the possibility of damage by MLAs.
But now the situation is completely different. Mulayam Singh Yadav took a U-turn ultimately, may be after hearing the comment of Neerja Choudhury regarding the SP-Congress alliance. In a chat with ET Now, Neerja Chowdhury, Political Commentator, and Columnist said both BJP and SP-Cong alliance stand a good chance in UP, while in Punjab it’s a straight fight between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress with advantage to Kejriwal-led party. Whatever may be the reason, some question always strikes in the mind that why Mulayam has changed his voice.
Although few followers of Mulayam Singh Yadav in twitter expressed negative impression on Mulayam, it doesn’t matter. Mulayam understood the weight of Akhilesh within his followers.
Obviously, both the comment of Mulayam Singh is the opposite part of a coin. In the end, it is very clear that you have to win the game. Ethics, argument, rationality, nationality all these things are not important than winning the game.
