The government will subsidize petrol by Rs 250 per month which is announced by Jharkhand Government recently. But there are conditions. To get this subsidy, the person must have a ration card. Chief Minister Hemant Saren has announced this as a new gift for the people of Jharkhand. At the same time, he said that the subsidy money will reach directly to the bank account of the ration cardholder.

The Chief Minister said, “Petrol and diesel prices are skyrocketing. It is having a significant impact on poor and middle-class families. One poor man is unable to drive a motorcycle due to high fuel prices. You can’t go to work using that motorcycle. ” He further said, “So I have decided to give a subsidy of Rs 25 per liter to the bikers holding ration cards, and that money will go directly to their bank account”.

In Jharkhand, the price of petrol is Rs 96.52 per liter. The Jharkhand government has taken the initiative to relieve the people of the state from skyrocketing petrol prices. Chief Minister Hemant said that this rule will be effective from January 26, 2022.
