We all hardly get time to completely admire one update of an iPhone, when the rumors of the other one start surprising us again. I bought my iPhone 6s and within some weeks, the rumors of iPhone 7 having no headphone jacks and all, just made me astounded. I was then craving for the iPhone 7 already. But I am glad I didn’t switch to it as a lot of my friends really didn’t like it that much.
Anyways, after the iPhone 7 series couldn’t do a lot of magic for us, the rumors of iPhone 8 started piling up. It was just a matter of a month when we had the talks about iPhone 8 going all around the tech market. A lot of experts suggested to skip the 7th series phone and simply wait another year to grab the 8th edition. So is iPhone 8 carrying some of the most wanted features or not? Is it worth the wait? Let’s find out.
Firstly, design is what makes a phone worth the attention. If the smartphone doesn’t look smart; it isn’t worth it. But wait, iPhone 8 is promising to be breathtaking! Yes, it is! The glass is going to back in the 2017 edition of iPhone; similar to the one of iPhone 4 and 4s. The edges will be having metal frames too. The major design change will be the curved screen. The glass case will be curved too. The display will be 5.8 inches which is again lovely! We don’t want the smaller iPhone yet; we want to enjoy the large screen.
Second, the rumors of wireless charging might make you go crazy but it is recommended that iPhone 8 should not introduce it. The wireless charge tech that they have been planning to build has not yet worked out and they have decided to settle for QI technology. This is the same to that of the Android phones and the IOS fans don’t want Apple to drop their level to such an extent. They are ready to wait for this feature. But until it is not big and better than the Android handset; the Apple lovers simply don’t want it.
Apple is also giving up on LCD screens and is jumping on to OLED screens now. This simply means that the whites will be brighter and the blacks will be blacker and the battery consumption due to the brightness will be low as anything. The responses will be even faster. iPhone 8 is rumored to come with an A11 chip which is said to be built on the ARM’s amazingly efficient 10nm manufacturing process. The next version of IOS will also kick start through iPhone 8. Yes, IOS 11 will be releasing on it.
Well, for now, apart from the wireless charging feature, nothing seems to be out of order. And yes, iPhone 8 definitely seems worth the wait.
