The number of omicron cases is increasing all over the world as well as in India. But to date, it is under control in the country. The total number of omicron cases in India has crossed 200 so far.  The number of patients has doubled in India in three days, figures that are alarming enough. However, 77 of these patients have also recovered after losing Omicron, the Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday. Maharashtra and Delhi have the highest number of omicron cases.

In both these states, 54 coronas have been affected by the new variant. In addition, 20 people were reported to have been in Telangana, 19 in Karnataka, 18 in Rajasthan, 15 in Kerala, and 14 in Gujarat. The number of omicron cases in India has doubled in just three days. Which has certainly put a twist of thought in health circles. Meanwhile, 5,326 people have been affected by corona across the country in the last 24 hours.

Which is the lowest in 581 days. But the number of deaths is increasing. In the last 24 hours, 453 people across the country have lost their lives in Corona. Meanwhile, 34 people were readmitted to Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan Hospital in Delhi after suffering from omicron. Of these, however, 17 have already been released. The rest are undergoing treatment at the hospital itself. This was stated by Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain on Tuesday.

In a statement, he added that three of the omicrons that have been infected at LNGP Hospital do not have a travel history. In this situation, the Delhi government has decided to make genome sequencing for those who will suffer from corona from then on.
